shoulder all healed, took myself into a gentle yoga practice and got myself some healing touch.
I wanted to share with you a few paragraphs from the book I just finished reading which I highly recommend. My Stroke of Insight by Jill Bolte Taylor, Ph.D.
From a a therapeutic perspective, there is perhaps nothing more intimate than touch, be it physical connection with another human or a furry friend. The physical benifits of nurturing and being nurtured are priceless.
Deep body massage is also great for a number of reasons. Not only does it help relieve tension in your muscles, but it also increases the movement of the fluids in your cellular enviroment. The internal world of yr body is how yr cells obtain nutrition and clear their waste. I enthusiastically support any type of of stimulation that increases their standard of liveing.
